  3. Changing the bulb:
  4.  
  5. The bulb is under the round cover on 
  6. the side of the instrument.  To remove 
  7. the bulb rotate the cover until the two 
  8. dots on it are horizontal and lift the 
  9. cover off.  The blub is held in place by 
  10. two small knurled screws.  Loosen the 
  11. screws and remove the bulb and its 
  12. holder.  Put a new bulb in place being 
  13. careful not to touch the glass with your 
  14. bare fingers.  Replace the bulb and cover.
